Who was the rhytm guitarist playing behind Jon and Sonny Craver in the film "White men Can't Jump"

Hi, I admire all of Jon's music, including the songs he did with The Venice Beach Boys in the film "White men Can't Jump".

I am a guitarist and am dying to know the name of the jazz rhythm guitarist (acoustic) who played behind Jon and Sonny Craver for the songs "Just a Closer Walk with Thee" and "Mood Indigo".

I would like to know if Jon performs with this guitarist, and if there are any albums with them together. Any other background information would be helpful. I really like the small singing ensemble style with simple drums and rhythm guitar as back up.
