I would dearly love to perform some concerts of Bossa Nova (in English & Brazilian-Portuguese) with Jon Hendricks. I am currently enjoying Dr. Hendricks' work on his re-issued recording 'Salud! Joćo Gilberto' and it would be the experience of a lifetime to perform this material in the company of Jon Hendricks himself.
My recent album - recorded live for Britain's award-winning mainstream jazz label Zephyr Records - has been chosen as 'CD OF THE WEEK' within a very strong field in this week's Observer and my band is now being taken on by top UK promoters Cindy Hacker and Jack Higgins. Attendance and audience response at our performances are consistently excellent - people love this music and love the way we play it.
